Here's a Way You Can Include Others

“If you can take your personality and inject it into the message you share, you’ll be one step ahead in the content marketing game.” Jason Miller

We were recently reminded of the importance of adding new content to our website on a regular basis.

This is one of the reasons we post a new blog every Monday. Great content creators are always looking for new content ideas.

In the nonprofit world, there is always a need for new content. People want to learn things in small format where they can pick up something new in a short period of time

New content helps to rejuvenate your website but also gives you a place to brag about the Feauture clients you have helped, activies your organization hosts, your fund raising plans and feature your volunteers.

Google continues to be a good source new information. Articles based on research of nonprofits are readily available.

One caution about content creation. AI appears to be a good resource but I caution against it because AI doing the writing for you takes YOU out of process. YOU are needed, your personality, your love of your organization and the people you serve must be present every time to add something new to your site.

New content should be added at least once a week. WIth the search engines, particularly Google, you want to be sure their bots find new material on a regular basis.

You don't enjoy researching and writing? You probably have a volunteer or board member who enjoys it. Never be afraid to delegate. Make sure you see what is written before it is published but other than that, you may find that once new content is off your plate, you will have more time for things you feel you can do better than anyone else in your organization.
