Three Things

Three Things

"A goal is a dream with a deadline". Napolean Hill

It's a new year and there's no better time than right now to set goals. One way to do that is to: 1. Set a goal that will improve your family life, 2. Set a goal to improve your professional life and 3. Set a goal that will improve how you relate to others.

Why only three? Because that is the maximum to achieve real change. More personal goals than that and it becomes a muddled mess, confusing, frustrating and discouraging.

Examples of goals can be 1. Spend 15 minutes every day one-on-one with each of my children, 2. Spend two hours every morning in the office following up on emails, answering questions and/or completing q grant writing class, 3. Meet with nonprofit team weekly to check in on how everyone's projects are coming along, find out who needs help and how best to support the team.

You know what you need. You know what your family needs. You know what your organization needs. By simply setting three goals you can accomplish more than you think!
